Love love board games and most any game! I actually have a “Happy Wild & Free Gamers” group. We meet monthly at a different hosts home and play mostly Mexican Train, Deer in Headlights, Phase 10, RummiKub, and we usually start the games with LRC for quarters!
There’s a fun card game called Bears & Bees that is my new favorite—and Hive 25 appropriate for you. You connect hexagonal shapes together by color, so it’s equal parts rewarding/calming and competitive.
I love Rummikub. It is also known as Rummytile. It is best with 3 or 4 people. When I had 2 people come over, I would cajole them into playing. I currently play Dominoes with my uncle, who is 101. We keep score, and he beats me most of the time. I bought a very nice set at Barnes and Noble that comes in a case.
I missed the Zoom final on On Writing Slow Read - so what's next? I loved this project.
Sarah, you'll definitely have to try Cards Against Humanity. Absolutely for adults, no kids in ear shot!! First time I played I laughed so hard.
Sequence is my favorite game. Not too many rules, straight forward and fun with 2 or four players.

Telestrations is hilarious with almost any age!
